Working with the co-directors Kate Yedigaroff & Matthew Austin and the wider MAYK team to deliver Mayfest - Bristol’s international festival of contemporary theatre and live performance. Taking place from 17th May - 26th May 2024 https://www.mayk.org.uk/mayfest

As Festival Producer my role is to produce and project manage all festival events, working closely with the wider producing/delivery team.

• Support with communication with festival venues and sites, including ensuring necessary permissions and licenses are in place, negotiating hire fees and creating clear front of house and box office plans for each site

• Lead on gaining permissions and arranging any visas, FEU’s and carnets for visiting artists from overseas

• Work with the Production Manager to ensure that technical production plans are appropriate and deliverable

• Work with the Company Manager and MAYK’s Directors on the drafting and issuing of festival contracts

• Work with the festival Marketing Manager and wider team to support and contribute to audience development and engagement activity where appropriate

• Lead on the pastoral care of artists performing at Mayfest 2024, including managing the arrangement of travel and accommodation 

• Lead on the successful delivery of access provision for the festival, working closely with artists, producers and venues

• Lead on the coordination of all associated talks, workshops and the opening party

• Ensure that budget lines for specific areas of responsibility are up-to date and on budget
