Riverside Dance

Artistic Director Paul Golz is an autistic dancer & choreographer.  Growing up in 1970’s London, and a culture of toxic masculinity, Paul faced many barriers to accessing any form of creative arts. Sent to martial arts classes instead, it wasn’t until later in life that he found the confidence to start his journey into movement and choreography.

I am working with Paul and the team to develop their current ACE funded Research and Development project These Stories We Tell. Working closely with 4 dancers, the Artist Wellbeing Company, an experienced dramaturg and a range of digital collaborators, the project will explore how we make sense of traumatic events in our lives.

Creating a piece that jumps between the real world and the virtual to discover the transformative power of the arts as a way to express those things that are most important to who we are as people.
